FBC Weston Youth Group |
|
FBC Weston's Youth Group is back! Pastor Ricky will be jumping back in to helping lead FBC Weston's Youth Ministry. We will begin gathering every Sunday from 5:30-7:00 p.m. Youth Group is a place for students in grades 6-12th to gather to grow in fellowship with likeminded brothers and sisters in Christ and grow deeper in God's Word. The time is loosely structured for allowance of group games/activities, fellowship around food, and a Bible study led by one of our Pastors of Youth Leaders. With the Super Bowl this weekend there will not be youth Sunday, February 9th. Please stay tuned for more update regarding Youth Ministry.
Pastor Ricky will begin a study through the Book of James on February 16th! |

St. Joseph Baptist Association: Every Tuesday we are commissioning our churches to pray for the DOM/AMS Search Team and process.
Illness in the Church: There has been a lot of illness but everyone appears to be on the mend! Please continue to pray for the health of our members.
Pam Brumley: Many of you know Pam Brumley (wife of former Director of Missions, Roger). She has a major abdominal surgery on February 25th that will take several hours, a 5 day stay in the hospital, and 6 weeks of recovery.
Cindi Larison: Pray for Cindy as she will undergo surgery on her foot today.
Beall Family: Pray for their continued recovery from illness in the home and for Rick as he continues to search for answers. |

Every Sunday through February we will be taking photos of individuals and families for an updated FBC Weston Photo Directory. We will also be doing a Connect Card push. Photos will be taken following the worship service in the Sanctuary in front of the platform. Please fill out a Connect Card found at your seats, drop it in the Tithe/Offering Box, and see Katie Heidtbrink for your photo opportunity. |

Pastor's Pen |
Brothers & Sisters,
I mentioned the above quote in yesterday's sermon. I hung this next to my desk at home as a reminder. God is the one at work and all through history He has done that work through faithful nobodies. If I can encourage you to make it a personal endeavor be a faithful nobody. Go love your neighbor well, share the hope of Jesus with them, and let God have all the glory!
It is such a joy & privilege to be on this mission with you, |
