We will be gathering at the church on THIS SATURDAY, July 6th at 8:30 a.m. to break up and canvas the neighborhoods of Weston with personal invites to Vacation Bible School. 

Our next Quarterly Family Meeting will be July 21st following service. After the meeting everyone is invited to join us for a light lunch and help get the church ready for VBS!

Ladies Daytime Bible Study has begun! All ladies are invited to come and bring friends on Wednesday mornings at 9:30 a.m. The Bible Study meets at the church. Click here to purchase the book. (Please do not order from Amazon. The books there do NOT have the video link.)

The Women's Book Club gathered this past week to discuss "Evidence Not Seen" and it was a great time. Stay tuned for the announcement for the next book and gathering time.

Calling all Fathers, Fathers to Be, Fathers of bigs OR littles, Grandfathers, & Spiritual Fathers to join us on August 20th to discuss Chuck Black's Book, "Call to Arms, the Guts & Glory of Courageous Fatherhood". We need Fathers and men from all seasons of life to join us for this discussion!

A new Bible Study through Revelation will begin August 22nd on Thursday evenings at 5:30 p.m. All women are invited!

For the last several years we have helped with an event hosted at the Weston Red Barn Farm that is put on by Platte Senior Services. On September 19th they have asked if we can help set up and break down again this year. If you are available to help this day please contact Pastor Ricky and let him know. 

A group of FBC Women are planning a Ladies Night out to see Chanda Pierce in KCMO.

Welcome to July! I cannot believe the weather we are having..! Steve said it right yesterday when he said that it feels like September out there. We couldn't help but to throw up the sash and worship in the open air! It was a pretty neat experience to proclaim His excellencies along side the birds chirping and the cool breeze passing through our Sanctuary. Many asked if we could do that again! Don't worry, I'm not trying to wish my Summer away by any means but I am counting down the days until we get into the "ber" months. We will certainly let the room breathe a bit when it cools off. 

July is the last full month of Summer break and we are making every opportunity we can to enjoy it together. Be sure to make a special note of all that is happening this month, especially as the countdown for this year's Vacation Bible School has begun!! Everyone is invited to join us for our Quarterly Family Meeting on July 2st. Following that meeting we will put our heads and hands together to getting the church ready for the week. 

It is such a joy to serve alongside you at FBC and in the Weston community! Let's join our hearts in prayer now for each child and family that will pass through our building that week!
