The Nations Brought to FBC Weston's Doorstep

For the last several years FBC Weston has had the opportunity to partner with the ISE Foreign Exchange Student Program. Local Weston esident, Heidi Sullivan, leads the program in the area. The program outgrew her backyard and she asked if they could utilize the church for their regional welcome event. Admittedly, all I (Pastor Ricky) heard was, "I'd like to bring the nations to your doorstep!" With that, I gave a resounding yes. This was the third year we were able to do this. Several of the ladies here at FBC Weston provide the desserts which pair well with the American food potluck style dinner. Thank you to all who help contribute to this every year. Not only does our church allow the space to be used and provide dessert but it gives us an opportunity to share Christ with the students. This year, I was able to share a word about Jesus and a prayer from the book, "Ever Moment Holy" specifically around students studying abroad.
