Brothers & Sisters,
As we continue to make our way through the book of Matthew I do hope that you are growing and encouraged through the Word. There is much to what Jesus teaches us in this one Sermon on the Mount. As we have spent several weeks in this sermon it is easy to forget that Jesus preached this in a single setting. How cool is that?!
We are inching toward the end of July and have much upcoming. Vacation Bible School is NEXT week! Be sure to get your kiddos signed up. We will also have our Quarterly Family Meeting next Sunday and the Hospitality Team is providing lunch following the meeting. We will be putting our heads, hands, and hearts together to get the church decorated and ready for the week.
I also want to make note of something. I always forget about designated offering times. I serve on the board for the Missouri Baptist Convention and STILL forgot about the Missouri Missions Offering. I am working on insuring that I don't keep dropping the ball on this and I have also been talking with the Stewardship Team about being more intentional with these kinds of offerings (MMO, Annie Armstrong, & Lottie Moon).
