Rick Beall - Continue to pray for the Beall family. Rick will need to continue to follow up with doctors as they seek answers regarding the stroke like symptoms and as they navigate future decisions.
Mark Henkel - Thank you for praying for Mark. He is home and doing well. He will have some follow up appointments this week.

Platte Senior Services Volunteers Needed
|
|
|
There is a need to help breakdown and clean up from this wonderful event that is put on for the seniors in the Weston Community every year.We will meet at Red Barn Farm at 1:30 p.m. to break down tables and chairs, pack up the items used for the event, and load them into their vans. It should not take more than 30-45 minutes to complete. If you are available can you text Pastor Ricky to let him know. |

The Sands will officially begin a Youth Bible Study through Jonah this Sunday, September 21st. All students 6th-12th grade are invited! Dinner is provided! |

Wednesday Morning Women's Bible Study |

Women's Daytime Bible Study will begin our Fall Study on Wednesday, September 24, at 9:30 AM. All ladies are welcome, and your toddlers are as well. (Even though we do not offer child care, we encourage you to bring your little ones along.) We will be studying the life of Joseph in the Old Testament, following lessons from Finding God Faithful. Chris & Rebecca w/ Navigators |

Chris & Rebecca Munsterman will be joining us Sunday September 28th to share about God's call on their lives in Slovakia. A couple of weeks ago we voted as a church to donate $5,000 to the Munsterman's to help off set their moving expense. They will be here to share a heartfelt thank you, more detail on the ministry they will be pioneering with the Navigators, and Chris will be preaching in our worship service. At the conclusion of the service we will pray over them and send them out in the Lord's call and care! |

Fields of Faith with FCA |

The West Platte FCA Club is hosting a regional Fields of Faith event this year! Mark your calendars and plan on joining us. This event is for the entire community!! FBC Weston's Worship Team is leading music, Jake Maechler is sharing God's word, and we are providing the meal of the evening. If you would like to volunteer to help please contact Bailee Giger and she will get you plugged in somewhere! |

Applefest Parade |

We are excited to be entering a float into the Applefest Parade this year! Here are the details if you would like to join us! We are going to sport any one of our favorite FBC Weston t-shirts from the last few years, walkers will hand out flyers to our upcoming Carnival & Outdoor Movie Night, and the Appefest committee has asked us to go HEAVY on the apple theme so we are asking all who plan to attend to purchase a bag or two of any kind of apple candy (caramel apple suckers, plain apple suckers, apple hard candies, etc.) to throw out to parade attendees! If you cannot join us for the parade but would like to donate candy to throw out you can certainly do so by purchasing and bringing to the church on any Sunday morning before Applefest weekend! |
