Rick Beall - Pray for Rick Beall & Family. Rick was rushed to the E.R. yesterday with stroke like symptoms. They have been running tests since yesterday morning trying to determine what is wrong. Pray for the family as they navigate this time and for doctors as they continue to work on and with Rick.
Henkel Family - Pray for the Henkel Family. They are in Arizona this week with extended family both celebrating and mourning the loss of a dear family member, Al. Pray that the Lord use them mightily to point to hope in Jesus while also bringing comfort to all of their hearts as they seek to honor Jesus and celebrate Al's life.

Our next Membership Class will be held Sunday, August 17th. This is a class that is designed to teach all interested candidates about membership in the Bible and how it is practiced at First Baptist. Location is still TBD but it will be held on Sunday morning during the Sunday School Hour with a light breakfast and coffee. Click here to sign up! |

Applefest 2025 |

REMINDER: The weekend of Applefest we will not have Sunday School and will have our regular worship service at 9:00 a.m. to allow for everyone to beat the traffic home! |

As many of you are aware we had to cancel the VBS Carnival last Friday. However, we are going to bring it back and attach it to our Outdoor Movie Night event! Mark your calendars for October 25th! This is a guaranteed good time!! |

On Sunday's Eric & Dawn Hite are organizing a Fellowship Lunch Connection. Any and all are invited. If you plan to go you need to contact Dawn to let her know so they can call the restaurant with a headcount in advance. The restaurant will be posted here every week.

Brothers & Sisters,
This photo might not look like all that glorious.. but it is a photo of a job well done! Also, I'll utilize it as a thank you to the many hands who truly made light work getting our church back into order after Vacation Bible School. We are donating our set design and a good 90% of our decorations to Clarksdale Baptist Church in Clarksdale, MO. A few of them will be joining us for worship on August 17th and will load this up when they leave. CBC is a church that has entered into ongoing church revitalization with the St. Joseph Baptist Association. That process began all the way back in October and one of their more successful ministries is VBS. We get the joy and privilege of helping set them up for next year. This is just another unique way that we cooperate as Baptists!
Speaking of cooperation. I want to encourage you to make it a priority to attend this month's Quarterly Family Meeting. This meeting will serve as a Vision Meeting as the Elders plan to share some hopes, dreams, and plans for the future of FBC Weston. This meeting will be a bit different than what we have had in the past! More information will be coming soon. Please mark your calendars and plan on joining us for that on August 31st.
